If you want to stick with a double stack 9mm, then look into the X9 or Experior Double Stack. Proprietary mag that is arguably more reliable, available, and less expensive. The sear and disconnector are 1911, but the frame/grip is modular in a completely different way (chassis/grip designed for occasional swapping vs frame/grip designed to be replaced when broken and to lighten weight when that was the competitive meta), and the upper end is a CZ75 with the slide rails inside out.
